At Bluffton Trinity, our doors are wide open to people from all backgrounds, regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey. We are a life-giving church and our goal is to infuse life and God's love into people and families through engaging, powerful worship services that offer biblical truth in relevant and practical ways.
Together, we're striving to become the kind of church described in the Bible, where there's relevant teaching, heart-felt worship, honest friendships, constant prayer, and compassionate care for those in need. In short, we'd like to have the kind of contagious Christianity that can influence and encourage the entire community, one life at a time.
So, if you are still just checking out the "church scene" and investigating the claims of Jesus Christ, thank you for allowing us to help you in your search. Or, if you are a committed Christ-follower who wants to sink the roots of your faith even deeper,
My name is J Gregg Fox. My wife Melanie and I have been asked to be the interim pastor at Bluffton Trinity UMC. I am humbled that your congregation has asked me to serve in this capacity.
I would like to take a moment to introduce myself and my family. I am called the hillbilly pastor. After you meet me you will understand why. I am married to my beautiful wife Melanie of 36 years and we live at 5772 Twp. Rd. 27 Jenera, Ohio 45841. We have raised two daughters which attended Cory-Rawson High School and have graduated from the University of Findlay. Our oldest daughter, Ashley Spitnal, lives in Miamisburg, Ohio with her husband Ken, and their son Grayson. Our youngest daughter, Tracy Waxler, lives in Findlay, Ohio with her husband Ryan, and their son Jenson.
I have been in the pulpit here in Bluffton since March 17, 2019, and feel very welcome in our new church. I am not approaching this appointment as a temporary appointment. My intention is to approach this as my next 20 year appointment.
I would like to ask you to come to our church and give us a chance. “My belief is everyone is welcome through the Gospel as we praise God and lift each other up”. Life is too short to dwell on things of the past, our future is bright with Jesus Christ. I Look forward to meeting everyone and making disciples for Jesus Christ.
At this time I would like to ask you how can I Pray For You Today? Anytime you have a need, prayer, hospital visit, or need just a friendly ear, please do not hesitate to contact me day or night.
Your Hillbilly Pastor,
